The Herb Piano Studio, located in Dunbar, WI, offers lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds in music.  Amanda’s passion is to give her students a sense of imagination and curiosity along with the proficiency and competency required to create lifelong musicians.  Under Amanda’s instruction, students will learn how to express themselves through music, become creative performers, and learn to use the musical gifts God has granted each and every person. 

With over 12 years of teaching experience, it is Amanda’s desire to bring her students to love and appreciate the gift of music through a creative approach.  Amanda attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC where she received her Bachelor’s of Music in Piano with an emphasis in pedagogy.  After graduating from college and getting married to Eric Herb in 2012, Amanda worked at a camp in northern Michigan where she served as the Music Coordinator.  There she was able to direct choirs and small vocal and instrumental groups in addition to her in home studio.  In 2016, she moved to the Flint area and decided to focus her attention on the piano studio in addition to being a mom.  In 2018, she moved to northern Wisconsin, and became the music coordinator at another camp.  She also teaches piano lessons at her home studio.  Amanda regularly accompanies various organizations and plays for many special events throughout the year while faithfully continuing her professional development by taking part in monthly piano seminars and workshops.

​Amanda and Eric have three children who bring much joy and excitement to their lives.  They enjoy spending time with family and friends, DIY projects, cooking, and of course, MSU football.  Eric and Amanda also serve faithfully in their local church.
